CAREER TIP

You never know where your next job might come from, so it pays to network whenever and where ever possible. For example, if you regularly frequent a restaurant and are friendly with the wait staff and/or manager, it can't hurt to mention you're in the market for a new job — sometimes they might know of another customer who's looking to hire!

Job Search Assistance

If your attempts at finding the right job are failing, you are probably not tapping into the numerous resources available that can help you uncover the hidden job market.

Prism Writing Services takes the guesswork out of job hunting by creating customized client action plans to help clients find resources they might not have thought to consider when searching for the right job.

Based on your career objective, we'll work to customize a specific action plan that includes a recommended job search strategy for you to do at your convenience, networking opportunities, training, and job boards/resources specific to your target goals, enrichment opportunities (where applicable), salary information and more. While a person could obtain the type of information we provide by using a search engine such as Yahoo or Google, we take the extra step of exploring the resources to verify that it will indeed be of interest to your job search and that any investment of your time made into the resource will be worth it.

Our Job Search Assistance Coaching Credentials

A Certified Internet Job Search Expert (CIJSE) is trained to help clients tap into the hidden job market by using a variety of internet research tools and methods in composing a plan customized to the client's needs. A CIJSE will work with you to put together a comprehensive action plan to identify potential employment opportunities BEFORE they're advertised. The CIJSE credential is granted by Career Directors International.

The Job Search Assistance Process
Step 1. Please send us your current resume so we can review your career history.

Step 2. We will schedule a 15-20 minute consultation to discuss your career objectives. During this information interview, we’ll ask you specific questions about the type(s) of positions you are interested in pursuing, your geographical preferences, salary requirements, and more.

Step 3. After we have the initial consultation, we will provide you with an estimated cost based on the number of hours we anticipate it taking us to prepare your job search plan. If you wish to proceed, visit our payment page to make your payment. You have 30 calendar days to decide whether to move ahead with the project. If after that time we haven’t heard from you by the end of that time period, we will assume you’re no longer interested.

Step 4. Once we have received your non-refundable payment for this service, please allow approximately five to seven business days for us to do our research and prepare your report. Your report will be delivered to you via e-mail.
