How does the process work?
Doing business with Prism Writing Services is as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1. Request your free project estimate. Please allow us two business days to evaluate your needs and respond with a written service quotation. All service quotes are valid for 30 calendar days from the date on the quote. If we do not hear from you by the end of that 30-day period, we will void the estimate.

If you wish to proceed with your project, please continue to step 2.

Step 2.Visit our secured Payment Page to make your payment. If you prefer to call us with your payment information, you may do so by phoning 732-860-8451. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

Step 3. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to our Writing Services Agreement. Please download and sign this important document, and return it via fax to our confidential, toll-free fax number, 1-888-648-2744.

If you have requested interview coaching, we have a separate coaching agreement. This will be sent to you upon receipt of your order.

We cannot commence any work on your project until you have completed steps two and three. We will NOT charge your credit card until we have received your signed Writing Services Agreement.

Once you have completed Steps 2 and 3, we will send you a receipt for your records and an e-mail containing the login information to your private online project work area. Please allow us two business days to plan your project’s milestones and to set up your work area. All communication and documents relating to your project will be placed in your secure project area.

Can I view the Writing Service Agreement terms before I commit?
Yes. Information on how to access the Writing Services Agreement is included on your Service Estimate.

May I order services that are not initially included as part of my package as add-ons/standalone purchases?
Yes. If, for example, your package doesn't include a Private Web-folio and you'd like to include that service as part of your package, please let us know and we will provide you with pricing information.

Can you accommodate rush projects?
Prism Writing Services is committed to ensuring that every client receives the very best possible product. We strategically plan each project’s lifecycle to ensure the highest possible quality. While other services might offer a rush turnaround, we believe that quality is most important. Further, given our simultaneous client load, we are not able to accommodate rush projects.

Are your prices negotiable?
Prism Writing Services is a professional consulting service that provides its clients with the benefit of its skills, training, and industry knowledge, much like a doctor, lawyer, or accountant provides specialized services within their respective disciplines. As such, we do not offer discounts nor do we ‘negotiate’ prices with prospective clients. 

Do you guarantee interviews/employment?
We guarantee that we will prepare the best possible document for each client. However, we do not guarantee interviews or employment offers because these are factors that are beyond our control. Once we release a document to a client, we have no idea if it’s used as provided, or if a client has made changes to the document. We also don’t know if a client is applying for positions that are a proper fit for their background and experience. The bottom line is there are far too many external factors that influence the outcome of a particular job search that are beyond our control for us to make any guarantees on behalf of others.

What if I decide I don’t like my resume? Can I get a refund?
Prism Writing Services develops customized documents that are tailored to each client’s strengths and background. Because our service is highly customized, we are not able to offer offer refunds because we cannot "re-sell" a resume that we developed for a client to another client, even if they are in the same industry. We encourage clients to take an active role in their project’s development. We have found that clients who are active in their project are rarely unhappy with the final product.   

I already have a resume. Why should I hire you to write it?  
In the majority of the cases, people don’t see themselves the same way the rest of the world sees them. When a person writes their own resumes, they often overlook key details that might otherwise be important building blocks for a strong personal brand. Similarly, a person might obsess over details that are really not relevant to accomplishing their objectives. Further, a person might not be able to strategically identify the relevant keywords that need to be woven into the resume's fabric. Prism Writing Services can assist you with avoiding these common pitfalls and developing a unique, powerful and strategic brand defines your professional strengths.

What occupations have you written for?
Prism Writing Services has prepared resumes for thousands of business professionals at all levels and in many occupations. While we frequently see the common jobs such as IT, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Education, Construction, etc., we have also written resumes for chefs, yacht captains, entertainers, artists, hair stylists, and others. We have available at our fingertips a vast library of resources to ensure that every product we create is current, eye-catching, and effective. However if there is a profession that we believe we won't be able to write for, we will tell you up front and refer you to a colleague who specializes in your area of expertise.

Do you prepare federal resumes and KSAs?
Yes, we are trained in preparing federal resumes and KSAs. Our federal resume work is done through our business relationship with CareerPro Global, the industry leader in federal resume preparation.

Can you meet with me in person?
We do not have an office location where we can receive clients. Our virtual office setup allows us to assist clients on evenings and select weekend days. We are also fully equipped with modern technologies including high-speed internet, secured storage, 24/7 voice mail, toll-free fax service, and of course, e-mail.  

Can I get my resume documents on a CD-ROM/paper copies?
We make all resume documents available via download in a client's secured, private work area which will remain active for 14 calendar days after the completion of a project. If you would like to receive a CD-ROM and/or paper copies of your documents, there is an additional fee for these services. There is no charge for us to e-mail your documents after your private client area expires.
